I had the privilege of testing Lilla Bjorn Crochet’s Helios Mandala and just had to make a blanket.      I used Scheepjes Metropolis and Scheepjes Spirit for this project and it is very soft and cozy.   Just in time for the cooler temperature to set in.    I decided to add all my notes here for making the mandala into an Octagon and then a blanket in case you would like to give it a try.   I added my hook size but go with the hook you get the right guage for the pattern.
