Scheepjes Our Tribe is now available in 11 beautiful uni colors. Each one of these is a beautiful complement to the existing color palette.

The Scheepjes Blogger Group is all about unity and togetherness, it is an alliance where inspiration and love for designing are shared with each other. Together our bloggers inspire, empower and support each other in their creative endeavours.

Our Tribe yarn was developed with our Scheepjes bloggers to capture all of the above and embrace the sense of community and belonging of the Scheepjes Blogger’s Group. It is a sports weight yarn that is perfect for garments, socks, shawls and lightweight home accessories. Each blogger has selected their own selection of colors along with a contribution from Simy Somer and Marie (of Tissue de Marie) making a total of 15 colours altogether. Each Colour is named after its corresponding blogger’s names. Was 15 now 21 and more to come when those Golden Tickets are found in the Ubuntu kits.

Soft, luxurious

I love the feel of this yarn. I’ve been working the inner tail first and it can be tangly to start but then gets less tangly as you get further in the ball. I wish Scheepjes put a easy start sticker on the end of the inner tail.

Beautiful yarn

The yarn is very soft and the colours are as pretty in person as they are in the pictures. I bought enough to make the rozeta blanket. I can’t wait to use it.

Lovely colors.

Just started working with this yarn. Very soft and has a nice feel and moves through my hook easily. Love the color gradient, even and natural looking. I can’t wait to finish my Esja sweater to see how the final project drapes and how it looks on.
